The 13th annual TASTE OF HOPE dinner was held last night, THURSDAY, APRIL 4th, at THREE SIXTY° in NEW YORK. Hundreds of the biggest power players from radio, music, film and the entertainment industry gathered for an exclusive dinner and support CITY OF HOPE through a live and silent auction featuring a selection of distinguished vintages from some the world’s finest private collections.
Chaired by iHEARTMEDIA EVP/Global Music Marketing ALISSA POLLACK, the event has raised more than $3 million since its inception.
Last night hundreds of thousands of dollars more were generated.
A portion of the funds raised at the 13th annual TASTE OF HOPE will go to the JASON POLLACK MEMORIAL FUND at MUSICIANS ON CALL, a program that supports music programming for patients and their families at CITY OF HOPE.
MC’d by music promotion legend RICHARD PALMESE, he told a poignant story of a friend fighting cancer and their desire to live. It made many in the room teary-eyed and reinforced why we were all there … to help save lives.
POLLACK told ALL ACCESS. “TASTE OF HOPE is one of the only events in the industry where all the biggest players in the biz come together to unite around a great cause! It’s amazing to see both friends and competitors clinking glasses and raising money for CITY OF HOPE to bring awareness and find a cure for cancer, diabetes and AIDS.
“We had a wonderful, capacity crowd last night. The food was as tasty as the wine was delicious. My deepest thanks for everyone’s extreme generosity last evening. Also, my deepest thanks to our board and committee for their dedication and for the endless generosity of all the people who attend each year.”
